Matt Padgett plays darts since 2006 and played in 2009 his first PDC tournament. Since 2010 he plays the PDC Circuit. Padgett got a place in the preliminary round of the PDC World Championship as the runner-up of the PDPA Qualification after the Russian qualifier had to withdrew, his first appearance in the tournament. 2011 he got a Tour Card but he had to give it bak end of the same year. From 2014 till 2015 he again had a Tour Card but again had to give it back. Since then he plays the PDC Challenge Tour, qualified for a few European Tour events and from time to time takes part in BDO events.
