Bernd Roith started to play darts in 1991. In 2009 he stood in the semifinals of the German qualification for the PDC World Championship.
2010 he caused a sensation when he won against Denis Ovens in his first round match at the European Championship. That more or less secured him a place in the PDC World Championship as he had already reached the last 16 in a Players Championship in the Netherlands. He qualified for the PDC World Championship 2011 but couldn't repeat this achievement a year later.In January 2012 he took part in the PDC Qualifying School and secured himself a PDC Tour Card. He played as many Pro Tour Events as possible and qualified for several European Tour events but played not successful enough to keep his Tour Card.
